Tufts University Student
Talia Bourdon
I am a student at Tufts University exploring how brain function shapes behavior, emotion, and development. I care deeply about understanding mental health through both scientific research and clinical impact.

About Me
I graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in 2025, where I developed strong analytical and communication skills through a rigorous liberal arts education. My coursework challenged me to think carefully across psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and history.
My academic focus is on the biological and psychological foundations of mental health. I am especially interested in how research in cognition and neuroscience can inform better clinical outcomes.

Performing Arts
I have loved musical theatre since middle school and continued performing through high school and college. At Tufts, I stay involved through Torn Ticket II, Tufts' student-run musical theatre organization.
Science + Creativity
Performing has strengthened my creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Those same skills support my academic work in understanding expression, emotion, and behavior.
I bring both analytical rigor and creative energy to what I do, and I am excited to keep building at the intersection of research, care, and the arts.

Music + Pittsburgh
I am a huge Mac Miller fan, and his music has always been part of my playlists. Because he is from Pittsburgh, that city has always had a special place for me too.
I also love Pittsburgh sports and I am a big Steelers fan. That Pittsburgh pride is one of the fun personal pieces of who I am outside of school.
